This is collection is a sampling of the Rare Books found at the NEST Special Collections. Many of the books were inherited from the American Mission Library in Beirut and are original versions of missionary biographies, textbooks for Protestant schools, religious literature as well as secular items. Many of these books were printed at the American Mission Press and were authored (or translated) by various members of the Protestant community. The majority are written in English and Arabic, but include books in Armenian, Turko-Armenian and other languages. This collection offers only a sampling of the books from our Rare Book Shelf.
